Nurse appointments

Nurse appointments can be directly booked up to six weeks in advance.

Appointments can be booked for:

• blood tests
• blood pressure checks
• ECG
• lung function tests
• wound reviews and dressing changes
• immunisations and travel vaccines
• cervical smears or vaginal swabs
• diabetes, asthma, and COPD reviews
• removal of stitches

When booking an appointment you will be asked the purpose as different times are needed for each of the above.

If you feel you need a blood test you must speak to a doctor first. Do not book an appointment unless blood tests have been requested by a GP or hospital doctor.
